  • The school fees include food on the study trips.
  • The tuition fee includes administration fees: NOK 2,500 for full year and 1,250 for half year.
    • This fee is paid when you accept the school place and according to separate terms.

In addition, there are

  • Deposit for key/room/equipment: NOK 1 300
  • Supplement for single room: NOK 5,850 (NOK 650 per month for 9 months)
  • Students cover the cost of personal equipment on the lines.
  • You must also calculate pocket money for personal consumption.

Joint expenses

Common expenses cover, among other things, teaching materials, operating costs, internet, photocopying, laundry, furniture and equipment, costs for common subjects, electricity and heating, etc.

Loans and grants from Lånekassen

As a student on year-round programs at Sund folk high school , you are entitled to study support from the Norwegian State Educational Loan Fund (if you are a Norwegian citizen).

For the 2026–2027 school year, you as a student (full-year courses) will receive a total of NOK 154,880 in grants and loans from the Norwegian State Loan Fund. Of this, 40%, i.e. NOK 61,952, will be converted into a grant once you have completed the school year and have it approved. If you are a student on a half-year course, you will receive half the loan amount.

As a student on half-year courses (half-year lines) at Sund folk high school , you are entitled to study support from the Norwegian State Educational Loan Fund (if you are a Norwegian citizen).

For the 2026–2027 school year, you as a student (half-year course) will receive a total of NOK 77,440 in grants and loans from the Norwegian State Loan Fund. Of this, 40%, i.e. NOK 30,976, will be converted into a grant once you have completed the school year and have it approved.
