Nice to stay in a double room!

Do you want to go to folk high school, but are a little afraid of what it will be like to stay in a double room with someone you don't know?

At Sund folk high school we pay attention to you, and we find good solutions if something goes wrong.

The dream is to get a double room with someone you can share everything with, and who will be your best friend at folk high school, and maybe for the rest of your life! Yes, it can happen, but sometimes you simply don't fit together. There may be practical reasons - one wants to be cold at night, while the other wants to be warm, or it may be that you simply can't work together. Don't worry - we're here to help. If it's impossible to live together, we have extra rooms that we can use, or it's possible to swap rooms to make you comfortable.

Double room or single room?

Most people who start at folk high school stay in double rooms. But at Sund folk high school we also have single rooms you can choose if you want. It costs 650,- extra a month. We usually recommend students to choose a double room. Staying in a double room is cozy, you get social and maybe make friends faster. However, if you want to live on your own, this is an option. We understand that it can be good to retreat once in a while.
